Version of 26 October 2026, in force from 12 November 2026 (clause 18). These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and the team that runs Lootera (clause 1). By creating an account, playing, contributing to the project or using the Char Bazaar, you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the Char Bazaar Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You accept electronically, by creating an account, ticking an acceptance box or confirming a contribution; that acceptance has the effect of a signature, and we keep a record of it (the Account, the moment and the IP address) to be able to show it. The English version is the original and translations are for convenience, except for consumers living in Brazil, for whom the Portuguese version prevails.

Clauses marked like this one limit your rights or ours. Please read them before you accept. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits the rights that the consumer law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived by contract (clause 16).

1. Who we are

Lootera is run by an independent team based in Brazil ("Lootera team", "we", "us"). It is a community project in ALPHA, not yet run through a company; when it is, these Terms will name it. Before we accept any contribution in Brazilian reais, this clause will name the company that runs Lootera, with its legal name, CNPJ (Brazilian company number) and address, as Brazil's e-commerce rules require (Decreto 7.962/2013, art. 2). Contact: [email protected] for support and privacy, [email protected] for anything else, or the support channel of the official Lootera Discord. Our servers are hosted in the United States.

2. Definitions

(a) "Service": the Lootera game, its websites, the Store, the Char Bazaar and related content; (b) "Account": your registration in the Service; (c) "Character": a playable character in an Account, with its level, skills, items, gold, outfits, mounts and progress; (d) "Virtual Content": Characters, items, gold, Lootera Coins and any other goods, currencies or advantages that exist only inside the Service; (e) "Lootera Coins" or "Coins": the Service's in-game credits; (f) "Crypto Assets": digital assets on public blockchains, such as SOL and USDC.

3. An independent, self-sustaining project in ALPHA

Lootera is an independent project: the contributions it receives pay for its servers, development, security and community events, so the game can keep running for its players. The Service is in ALPHA, the test phase before the BETA: it may contain errors, lose progress, roll back data or be unavailable. When the server moves from the alpha to the beta, the Characters are reset; the Account and its Coins stay, except Coins the Lootera team credited for testing, which may be removed. When the server leaves the beta, the Characters are reset again (clause 7-A). We fix problems as fast as we reasonably can.

4. Who can play, and your Account

You must be at least 18 years old, or have reached the minimum age for using online services in your country (at least 13) and have the permission and supervision of your parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. If you are under 18, contribute only with your parent or guardian's consent and with a means of payment they authorised: they supervise your use of the Service and are responsible for the contributions made with their means of payment. You sign in through third-party providers (such as Google or e-mail). At most 5 Accounts may be connected from the same IP address, and connections through VPNs, proxies or hosting providers are refused, as set by the game's rules. You may not use the Service where doing so is prohibited by law, or if you are subject to sanctions that prohibit dealing with us.

What is done through your Account with your access is attributed to you, and keeping that access secure is your responsibility. Do not share your access or play on someone else's Account: whoever does so takes the risk, loses our help when something goes wrong, and what is lost that way is not restored. Tell support at once if you think someone else got into your Account: the sooner we know, the more we can undo. The Lootera team never asks for your password or your sign-in code.

Inactive Account: an Account with no sign-in for 2 years in a row may be closed. We warn you at least 30 days in advance, at the Account's e-mail address or, for an Account without one (such as one that signs in only with a wallet), on our official channels; signing in within that time keeps it. On closure, the Account's Virtual Content is lost, including unused Coins and VIP, without refund, and personal data follows the Privacy Policy.

5. A license, not ownership

You do not own the Account, the Characters or any Virtual Content. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Service and its Virtual Content for entertainment, under these Terms. Virtual Content has no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for money and can only be transferred in the ways the Service itself offers. This does not affect what you are entitled to under clause 9 or under mandatory law.

6. Lootera Coins: in-game credits, not money or crypto

You receive Lootera Coins as a thank-you for your contributions (clause 7) and in the other ways the Service may offer. Coins are credits for use inside Lootera only, recorded in our game database. They are not a crypto asset or token (they do not exist on any blockchain and cannot be sent to a wallet), not electronic money, not a deposit, not a security and not an investment.

VIP time and other timed benefits start when they are activated and end on their own when their time runs out, whether or not the Account is played in that period. Coins have no expiry date, with two exceptions: an Account with no sign-in for 2 years may be closed, and its Coins are lost with it (clause 4); and at the end of the BETA phase (clause 7-A) the Coin balance goes to zero and each Account receives, once, the Coins its contributions gave it during the alpha and double those its contributions gave it during the beta.

Coins earn no interest and have no guaranteed value, liquidity, buy-back or conversion: we never redeem, buy back or exchange Coins for money or Crypto Assets, and we make no promise that Coins or any Virtual Content will keep or gain value. When players give Virtual Content a value among themselves, it comes from their own supply, demand and decisions (clause 10).

7. Contributions and payment

Contributions are voluntary: the amount, the means of payment and the moment are your choice. You contribute by choosing a pack on the Buy Coins page; each pack has a fixed amount (in US dollars for USDC, in Brazilian reais for Pix) and the bonus Coins it credits, both shown there before you pay and unchanged while your order stands. Pack contents, amounts and promotions may change for later contributions, with no effect on those already made. You can pay:

(a) in Brazilian reais, by Pix, where the page offers it, through the payment provider Pagar.me. A Pix charge has a deadline shown on screen; a charge not paid in time expires and credits nothing. The details a Pix charge requires (name, CPF and phone) go to Pagar.me for that charge only and are not kept by us;

(b) in USDC on the Solana network, at the fixed dollar amount of the pack. The network fee is paid by us.

A contribution gives no share, prize, return or right in the project beyond the bonus Coins. The Coins are credited to the Account you chose as soon as the payment provider (Pix) or the network (USDC) confirms the payment (usually within minutes; a fraud review may delay it). The number of Coins credited is the one of the pack when the order was created. Pay only through the Lootera page, with the exact amount, network and asset shown: an amount sent from an exchange, on another network, in another token, or outside the page is not credited automatically, and recovering it depends on a request to support and may not be possible.

Crypto transfers are final: once sent, they cannot be reversed by anyone, including us. Crypto Assets are volatile; the USDC amount of a pack is fixed in dollars, but what a dollar is worth in your currency is not. You are responsible for the tax, currency and regulatory obligations of your own country.

7-A. Contribution terms

Before its first contribution, each Account accepts the terms below, and we keep a record of that acceptance (the Account, the moment and the IP address):

Each contribution is a voluntary way of supporting Lootera and is credited as bonus coins. Coins have no value outside the game, and there are no voluntary refunds once they enter your account. A chargeback or a dispute in bad faith takes away the coins and whatever was bought with them, and may suspend the account.

ALPHA and BETA phases: Lootera is in alpha now. When the server moves to the beta the characters will be reset, and your account and your coins stay, except the coins the team credited for testing (clause 3). When the server leaves the beta the characters will be reset again, your account stays, the coin balance goes to zero and you receive, once, the coins your contributions gave you during the alpha and double the coins your contributions gave you during the beta. Contributions made in the alpha are not doubled. Coins received any other way do not count.

Clauses 6, 8 and 9 apply to contributions; nothing in this clause limits the rights clause 8 gives you.

8. Right of withdrawal

If you live in Brazil, you may withdraw from a contribution within 7 days of the payment (Código de Defesa do Consumidor, art. 49) by writing to support. We return the amount by the same means of payment and remove from the Account the bonus Coins of that contribution; if some of them were already used, the return takes that into account, within the limits the law allows.

Outside Brazil, where the law of your country treats a contribution with bonus Coins as a distance purchase with a right of withdrawal (for example, 14 days in the EU and the UK): bonus Coins are digital content supplied immediately, and by asking us to credit them right away, you expressly agree that delivery starts at once and acknowledge that, where the law allows, you lose that right once the Coins are credited. Before they are credited, you may cancel by writing to support. Where your country's law gives you a right of withdrawal that cannot be lost this way, that law applies.

9. Refunds, fraud and payment disputes

We return a contribution, in bonus Coins, by Pix to the account that paid (for a Pix contribution) or by re-sending the Crypto Asset you sent (at our choice, unless your law says otherwise), when: (a) you contributed through the contribution page and the bonus Coins were not credited because of a fault on our side; (b) the same contribution was sent twice by mistake; or (c) the law of your country requires it. Write to [email protected] with the transaction identifier within 30 days. Outside these cases, contributions whose bonus Coins were credited are not returned. If we close the Service for good, clause 13 applies.

Contribute only with a means of payment you are entitled to use: using someone else's without their permission is fraud, whatever the amount. If you think a charge was not made by you, contact support before disputing it; we can act on a compromised Account quickly.

A payment disputed in bad faith after its bonus Coins were credited and used (with your bank, through Pix's special refund mechanism (MED), or with a card issuer) may lead to the removal of those Coins and of what was bought with them, the suspension of the Account and the refusal of new contributions. Where the Coins were already spent and cannot be removed, the balance may go negative until it is settled.

10. Store, Roulette Room, Char Bazaar and trades between players

Store offers, prices in Coins and rules may change. The Char Bazaar works only with Lootera Coins inside the game and is governed by the Char Bazaar Terms; it is the only permitted way to move a Character between Accounts. Selling, buying, lending or sharing Characters or Accounts by any other means is prohibited.

The Roulette Room is only for players aged 18 or over. Each pull of a machine uses one Roulette Coin, bought in the Store with Coins or won in the Room. The result is drawn on our server before the machine spins; the animation only shows it. The chances of each machine and of each prize tier are shown before you pull; changes to chances or prizes apply only to later pulls and are shown on the machine first. If the law of your country prohibits paid random rewards, you may not use the Roulette Room.

Roulette prizes are Virtual Content like any other: they have no monetary value, and Coins won in the Room, like all Coins, are never exchanged for money or Crypto Assets by us (clause 6).

Trade inside the game, through the ways of trading the Service offers. Deals made outside the Service carry no guarantee and no support from us: we are not a party to them, do not hold or transmit funds, do not settle disputes about them and cannot recover money or Virtual Content lost in them. Selling or buying Virtual Content for money or Crypto Assets outside the Service is not recognised and may cost both Accounts involved. We may act on Accounts involved in fraud, money laundering, stolen accounts, charged-back payments or other unlawful conduct.

11. Rules of conduct

Lootera hunts for you by design: automated combat, hunt routes and offline progress are the game, and playing that way is entirely legitimate. Software that plays in your place from outside is forbidden: third-party bots, macro tools, browser extensions, modified or unofficial clients, tampering with network traffic, and anything that automates decisions the official client does not make for you.

Exploiting a bug is a serious breach: using a defect to duplicate items, gain gold or Coins, get past a limit or reach somewhere you should not costs what was gained and, depending on its scale, the Account. Reporting a defect never costs anything.

You may have more than one Account, within the limit of Accounts connected from the same IP address (clause 4), but you may not use them together to gain an unfair advantage: feeding one Character with sacrificed ones, stacking rewards meant for a single player, or evading a penalty. Parties, guilds and shared hunts are for playing together; arranging their outcomes to farm rewards meant for real cooperation is abuse. Scams, fake trades and deliberate abuse of trading mechanics (coordinated prices, exploiting listing or payout defects) are punished as fraud. Any promotional or referral system is for real players: creating Accounts to farm it is fraud.

Character and guild names may not pose as the Lootera team, imitate another player to deceive, or carry offensive, discriminatory, sexual or unlawful content; such a name is penalised like the other breaches in this clause, and insisting costs the Account. Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination and sexual content aimed at other players are not tolerated in any channel. Do not publish other people's personal data, do not spam or flood, do not advertise other services and do not post links to malicious sites or fake sign-in pages. Persistent bad faith towards other players is a breach even when each act looks small, and teaching or encouraging someone to break these rules counts as breaking them yourself.

Never claim to be part of the Lootera team. Attacks on the Service (denial of service, intrusion attempts, probing for vulnerabilities without authorisation) are the most serious breaches and are handled as such; nor may you collect other players' data, commit payment fraud or infringe anyone's rights. Conduct that may be a crime is reported to the authorities, and we cooperate with lawful requests.

Report a breach through the official channel, with details that can be checked: who, when, where and what happened; a knowingly false report is itself a breach. We decide on the evidence we hold: game records, transaction records and reports. Penalties range from a warning to a temporary suspension or the permanent closure of the Account, together with the removal of what was gained through the breach. We act in proportion to the severity and repetition, tell you why, and you can contest the decision through support.

An Account suspended or closed for breaking these rules is owed no refund of its contributions and no compensation for progress, items, Coins, VIP or time lost, except as the mandatory law of your country guarantees (clause 16).

12. Changes to the game

Lootera is a live game: we may change, rebalance, add or remove features, rules, prices and Virtual Content to keep it fair, working and lawful. We will not make changes whose purpose is to take away, without reason, what you contributed for. Material changes are announced on our official channels.

Such a change, a rebalance included, is a change to a service and not the removal of property, and gives no right to a refund of contributions or to compensation; the same goes for the resets and data rollbacks of the ALPHA and BETA phases (clause 3), without prejudice to the Coins of clause 7-A. Where a change leaves a benefit you contributed for without purpose, we offer a corrective credit instead. Where a player loses something through a proven error on our side (an item that vanished, Coins debited in excess), it is corrected inside the game, in proportion to the loss: we return the Coins, the item or the progress lost.

13. Suspension or end of the Service

We may suspend the Service for maintenance or security, and we may close it for good, for example if it cannot cover its costs. We will announce a closure at least 30 days in advance whenever possible, and stop accepting contributions from the announcement. When the Service closes, your license ends. Coins and Virtual Content have no cash value and are not refunded on closure, except that contributions made in the 30 days before the announcement whose bonus Coins were not yet used are returned on request, and except where the law of your country says otherwise.

14. Warranties and liability

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, changes in the price of Crypto Assets, deals between players or failures of third parties (sign-in providers, blockchains, wallets, hosting), and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you contributed in the 12 months before the event. None of this limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or wilful misconduct, for gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

For consumers living in Brazil, this clause applies only as far as the Código de Defesa do Consumidor allows (art. 51, I).

15. Intellectual property

The code, the Lootera name and logo, texts and original creations of the Service belong to the Lootera team. Hunt data comes from TibiaWiki under the CC BY-SA license.

16. Applicable law, your consumer rights and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live: choosing Brazilian law never takes those away.

Please contact support first: most problems are solved there. If not:

(a) European Union and United Kingdom: you may bring a claim in the courts of your own country, and use the consumer bodies and alternative dispute resolution entities of your country.

(b) Brazil: the Consumer Defence Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor) and the LGPD apply to you, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your domicile, or through consumidor.gov.br or Procon.

(c) Other countries of Latin America: the mandatory consumer and data protection rules of your country apply, and you may use the courts and consumer authorities of your country where its law gives you that right.

(d) United States: any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in a class or representative action, and there is no jury trial. You may opt out of this arbitration clause by e-mailing [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

(e) Elsewhere: the courts of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory rules that give you the right to sue in your own country.

17. Personal data

We process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it applies from; until then, the previous one remains in force. We will announce material changes on our official channels at least 15 days before they apply; if you do not agree, you may stop using the Service and close your Account. Changes never apply to contributions made before them.

19. General

If a clause is held invalid, the rest remain in force. Not enforcing a clause is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms except through the Char Bazaar; we may transfer them to a company that takes over the Service, without reducing your rights.
